For instance, each Acupoint Classification has distinct characteristics, functions and energetics, and best practice uses. TCM uses theoretical concepts which group acupoints based on their similarity of actions and relationships. Acupoint Classifications are considered the “Chinese Medicine Bag” because they provide the “tools” to create an appropriate session plan for each individual animal.
